Meet The Field House Team

Field House Private Care Home is a family run and operated business. We are intensely passionate that our residents receive the highest quality care available and the family works closely with our care teams to ensure we constantly strive to achieve this.

We acquired Field House in March 2016 and Geoff and Zosia, together with their daughter Hannah and son Michael, run a small number of other residential homes across the country.

We see Field house as our residents home with us the visitors. We do everything in our power to ensure that a resident never has to leave Field House, therefore we have strong professional relationships with GP’s, District Nurses and a number of medical specialists. These colleagues, when needed, provide palliative care to our residents with declining health and additional needs.

Field House Care Home provides high-quality care and support for all needs and requirements including specialist dementia care. Our dementia care services are provided by our highly trained and professional dementia care specialists. We try to encourage as many independent activities and as much self-sufficiency as possible. We believe this allows our residents to remain in control and active, enhancing their quality of life.

We provide unrivalled care for every individual in their new home and ensure they are happy and healthy at all times. This goes hand in hand with personal, one to one assistance. At Field House, we assign a personal keyworker to each resident, allowing for consistency, routine, familiarity and the chance to build a special rapport.

Our dedicated team are loving, experienced, professional and caring. They have extensive knowledge of Dementia including more complex medical conditions and disabilities. Most of our staff members are NVQ qualified at levels 2, 3 and 4, so you can rest assured that your loved one is in safe hands.

We have a combination of skilled staff on duty at all times to support our residents and ensure that every need is catered for. We have a uniform colour code worn by our staff based on their specific job role, which allows our residents and visitors to easily recognise who they need. Burgundy is for all staff who deliver medications, pale green for care staff, and lilac is worn by our domestic team.

Our Registered Manager and the team are always looking to raise the already high standard of care provided by our Dementia care specialists. We achieve this by further extending the already comprehensive training program, recruiting additional staff in specific roles and investing in technology to allow staff to spend the maximum time with residents.

Anna Demicoli – Deputy ManagerMy name is Anna, and I am the Registered Manager at Field House. I came into care just over 8 years ago working in a Care Home for people living with Dementia. In my last place of work I trained and gained the qualifications that enabled me to become a Care Practitioner, I am very proud of this achievement. I came to Field House in April 2020 when the opportunity arose for a Deputy Manager.

I always wanted to progress into management from the moment I started in care. I have a great passion for care and strive to ensure the team provide the highest quality care to our residents. Out of work, I like to spend time with my children and love holidays on the beach.

Cris worked in Insurance for 20 years but didn’t feel fulfilled.  She tried Care Work 5 years ago and has never looked back.  She joined Field House a few months back and loves working here with the residents and staff team.

Team Leader

Hi my name is Stef, I am one of the Senior Carers here at Field House. I came to work at Field House in January 2017 and have loved working here ever since. I have over 20 years’ experience in the care sector working in a variety of settings.

I have a passion for working in Dementia care. Some of my responsibilities involve the administration of medication and leading the care team in delivering exceptional person-centred care. I am one of the Infection control Health and Safety Champions for the home. I love my job.

Home Administrator

I have been at Field House for 3 ½ years. My previous role was Head Housekeeper. I really enjoyed this but wanted to develop further into care and have more impact on the resident lives.

My role now is overseeing that every resident has a good fluid and nutrition intake. I monitor this, and feed the information back to the team, and support the staff on the floor to achieve this. I also raise any concerns and work with the other Senior Carers to ensure our residents are fully supported.

Wellbeing Co-ordinator

Hi I am Dawn. I am new to Field House, and I am excited to bring new activities and fun for the residents. I have worked as a Wellbeing Co-Ordinator before, and I really enjoy my work. I am enthusiastic about supporting residents living with dementia and finding stimulating activities for them to join in with.

I will also be looking at bringing in outside entertainment such as singers etc. I am also hoping to engage with the community of Hagley and let them know we support our local villages and gain their support.

Head Housekeeper

It is my pleasure to join Field House Care Home in March 2021 to give my service and skills which I have acquired through working in other Care Homes and Hotel Industry for more than 10 years in Housekeeping.

I have very good experience of providing outstanding services. I am glad that I have joined the team here at Field House, where people are so helpful, and respectful to each other, and do this to provide an excellent service to the residents.

My name is David and I am one of the Chef’s here at Field House. Having started my carer as a chef in a Restaurant in Kinver, I was then lucky enough to spend two years working in Switzerland. I then returned to England where I worked in Hotels and Restaurants, before having a year out to travel the world.

I started at Field House in April 2020 having previously worked in other care settings. I have a great passion for food and seeing the residents enjoying what has been made for them. I completed all my training at Halesowen College. I am now a settled family man who really enjoys working in Care Homes.

Rana has been a Chef for the last 14 years, where she has cooked in mostly council-managed care homes, supporting older adults.  Rana loves cooking and loves food in general.  She has been serving up wonderful meals for our residents for several months now.

I have been working with property maintenance for several years, previously working in a Manor House in Wiltshire. While there I worked in many areas such as plumbing, electrics, repairs and decorating. I also supported the team overseeing seeing the gardens, and the 20 acres of land. I have recently joined this lovely team and have enjoyed getting to know all the residents.

Linda is an experienced Gardener and has worked on 2 large allotments and private gardens. Linda started gardening as a hobby, but realised she enjoys it so much she developed it into a career.

Linda has been making the 10 acres beautiful at field House for the last 7 months, and really loves her job. She has recently developed a sensory garden in Cottages Garden which has brought a lot of joy into our residents’ lives.

We have owned and operated care homes since 1997. Our passion for delivering great care and our zero tolerance for anything else has only grown year on year.

Our strapline “Because we care” is very real and, as individuals and a family, we get personally very upset if we fail to deliver anything less than brilliant care.

I am personally legally and, I feel, morally responsible for each and every home and its residents. If I am not visiting a home, I am in daily contact with the managers and their teams. Our systems and processes are all geared to letting me and my directors know when things have not been done and providing information to enable us to constantly improve.

We never think “this is great and it’s good enough” – we always strive to do better.

Operations Director

I have been working in the business for nearly 15 years.

My job now is Operations Director supporting the managers and their staff teams to make sure that we maximise the overall wellbeing of each and every resident.

Unlike other homes, this is not just about making sure that there is no poor care, it is about instilling and maintaining a passion for excellence in everything we do. Part of my job is to ensure the smooth running of the homes with really fast purchasing so if a resident needs something it is in the home within hours, not days or weeks.

I am also responsible for the décor and maintenance of the homes and hopefully making sure they are homely and fulfil the wishes and aspirations of each individual resident and their relatives alike.

Finance Director

My role as Finance Director is to ensure the long term financial sustainability of the Care Home.

I am also responsible for Health & Safety, Data Protection and Information Technology. I regularly work from our Care Homes as it’s important to be hands-on, working with our teams to ensure that the necessities of regulation don’t detract from the demanding job of delivering great care.

Unlike many in the care industry, we are investing significantly in IT; we see it as an effective way of continually improving the quality of care and to continue to be more responsive to our resident’s and staff’ needs. Our systems tell us in real-time if things have not been done; Care is a 24/7 business and we work every hour necessary to ensure that issues are addressed immediately.
